Best brace out there for foot drop

I like this brace a lot. It’s flexible enough to work my ankle muscles yet strong enough to lift my foot, and can be hooked into shoelaces which makes it much easier to use than my dictus brace.

Easy to use with multiple shoes

Works very well for foot drop. Easier to use than most and doesn’t require different size shoes. One AFO can be used with multiple pairs of shoes with more clips.

Great product!

My first AFO was the standard calf lenth hard plastic that went inside my shoe, requiring the purchase of new shoes in a larger size. Awkward and uncomfortable. The Core Products Foot Flexor goes outside the shoes, I can go back to my to my regular size shoes. The surgical rubber tensioner keeps the foot from dropping and dragging and it is easy to install. It is comfortable and less expensive than other similar products. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

It is very effective. I would appreciate you considering making them in a light neutral color, as black is very warm in summer.

I've owned several of these over the years. They work better than many of the other similar cost products. A drawback is the constant pulling down of the brace by the rubber cords. Within a month, the back of the brace start to "buckle up" due to the pressure and will start digging into the back of the ankle. As the rubber strap stretches/ages, you lower the cable down another loop to put enough pressure to lift your foot up again. But you have the bucking of brace. I generally get about 6 months out of mine before having to get a new one. Also the Velcro straps gets clogged up with fuzz over time and doesn't want to grip well. Despite the complaints, it is still one of the better orthotics of this type that I've used. I've tried the hard plastic ones and originally the horrible metal one that attached permanently to one pair of shoes as well. This unit is better. I just wished they lasted and stayed comfortable longer. I'm fairly active due to walking a lot. Maybe for those less active, the brace would last longer.
