Scientifically proven to prevent and protect skin tissue from bed sores, hot spots, and blisters, the LiquiCell Mattress Overlay is an ultra-thin, liquid-filled membrane that absorbs the pressure from shear forces.

Studies show that bed sores are caused by friction and shear forces generated from movement of soft tissue around a boney contact area. The LiquiCell Mattress Overlay prevents bed sores better than other pressure relieft products because the liquid-filled membranes stretch and move, instead of the patient's soft tissue. 

The LiquiCell Mattress Overlay can shorten long-term medical care and lower costs. It is easy to use, washable and completely safe.

Position the overlay under boney contact areas,  such as the ankles, coccyx, lumbar, elbows, scapulas, and head--areas that are most susceptible to pressure ulcers and/or may already show signs of concern with skin redness or darkening. 

For larger areas, two LiquiCell Mattress Overlays can be adjoined by overlapping the edges and lining up the seams.

Care of Product: Hand wash with soap and water or wet cloth. Wipe dry.
